BenConsidering this beer was personally delivered to me from Seattle to Florida, I had high hopes for Reuben’s Brews Crikey IPA, and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve had plenty of IPAs over the years, but to me, what stands out about this one is its smoothness and drinkability. I’m told there are tastes of citrus, pine and tropical fruit, but it’s not subtle tastes of various ingredients that perk my interest in beers, but the overall knee-jerk reaction taste that doesn’t make me wonder if I like it or not, and alcohol content. For Crikey, which means ‘Surprise!’ in Australian, it was no surprise. This is a good beer.
