BenBecause I planned a trip to Italy right in the middle of the global coronavirus outbreak, and because that trip might be canceled as a result, I decided to do the next best thing: Drink Italian beer. Luckily for me, a variety pack I’ve obtained included Birra Moretti L’Autentica. But after drinking it, I decided that the name in Italian must mean ‘little fiz and no kick.’ The bottle, however, shows a guy in a green suit and hat, drinking a pint, which is strange because this beer came in a 12-oz bottle. That was fine, though, as it sped up getting through this otherwise unmemorable beer, and its 4.6% alc.
The best thing I can say about this beer is that it’s not gross and it was something to drink, and allowed me to wonder if missing out on Italy won’t be so bad after all.
