BenHoly Hoppiness… After getting sick of lagers and seeing that I haven’t even drank them all, I reached for something that looks like the complete opposite: A Belgian pilsner. Bavik Super Pils, which sounds like something you buy from a shady online pharmacy to enlarge something or other, took me on a trip with one sip. Smooth fermented bitterness. I can’t say I’m in love with this beer but it makes the effort of standing out. Most importantly, it’s not a lager.
