BenConsidering I’m not a big fan of Porters, I’m unclear how I keep ending up with them. Yet, I drink them anyway because these things are too thick to pour down the drain without doing permanent damage.
This 7.2% alc. porter, like others, needs to be drank with a fork and knife, is slow to finish, and leaves me not wanting something else. That said, that little bit of taste that you get when you finish your sip – a dark chocolate/coffee taste – is pleasant enough to not completely discount this beer, but to rank is among other porters as Not Terrible.
