Being a “devil dog” myself I had to try this beer. Beer Hound brewery, Culpeper, Virginia has taken a stab at a Belgian tripel and produced “teufelhunde” or “devil dog”. It’s bottle is straight to the point with a bulldog picture in black and white on it, the beers color is light and the smell is sweet. The taste is like a combo of Candi and Merry monks, sweet with a bite! It has a 9.1% Alc content which is always a big plus in our book. This beer is a no frills trippel and I like it, 4 stars.
