2016 update, moved to 4 stars, this is a great beer to enjoy every night as the weather changes!
Southern Tier Harvest seasonal is here! It’s labeled that it’s brewed with 4 varieties of hops and 2 types of malt and you can tell when you smell it! It has that “hoppy” smell and the first taste is very hoppy but the malt takes over and smoothes it out. I’m not a big hoppy beer drinker but the way this changes while drinking, makes it quite enjoyable, that and it’s 6.7% alc content! It’s a great fall beer and I give it 4 stars! Way to go Southern Tier!
Southern Tier Harvest Ale is fantastic! I will have to raise you by a 1/2 star and take it to 4. As the Fall season has progressed, I actually prefer the Harvest over the Pumking. With tonight being Halloween my choice is Dogfish Punkin.
